When people hear the expression “Food to Die For” they don’t normally expect to see bullets on the plate. But, at the Michelin star restaurant Contraste in Milan that’s exactly what you get. Contraste, run by a young Michelin starred chef called Matias Perdomo. Set on the ground floor of a 19th-century residential building, has a clever, feels-like-home ambiance that complements the playful spirit of chef’s imaginative cuisine. Matias Perdomo is good at creating a ‘wow’ effect: classical recipes are reinvented with unexpected ingredients and presented in a fun and creative way that surprises the guest at every course. Nothing is what it seems.

Our DMC, Pro Meet, recently used the restaurant for one of the luxury clients from the UK and the group were blown away by the quality and ambiance. The piece de resistance was definitely the Pulp Fiction starring bullets made from dark chocolate and featuring coconut and beetroot on the same place. Don’t say we didn’t warn you !!
